ShopLocal.com Named Best Internet Shopping Service

Leading Web-to-Store Site Honored at 2005 EPpy Awards, Presented by Editor & Publisher and Mediaweek Magazines

CHICAGO, June 15, 2005 - ShopLocal, the leading provider of Web-to-store marketing solutions for retailers, was recognized as the Best Internet Shopping Service over 1 million during this year's EPpy Awards, presented at the E&P/Mediaweek Interactive Media Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana. The EPpy Awards honor the best online work from media outlets, including newspapers, television networks and affiliates, radio networks, syndicated shows, local radio stations, and magazines. The awards are co-sponsored by Editor & Publisher and Mediaweek magazines.

A group of 40 independent industry experts from the business and academic sectors selected ShopLocal as the Best Internet Shopping Service over 1 million based on overall design, ease of use, comprehensiveness, and other criteria. This year marked the 10th annual EPpy Awards, which honor Web sites across several categories including Best Overall Newspaper-Affiliated Service, Best Internet Sports Service, Best Overall Design, and Outstanding Individual Achievement. The competition is open to media companies from any country that operate Internet services on the Web.

ShopLocal uses a geo-targeted search engine to help the roughly 84 million shoppers who use the Internet to gather information and then buy at local stores.
